DRIVE WITH US is a driving school based in South Australia. Our booking system allows students to book, reschedule, and cancel driving lessons online.
What the Integration Does
The DRIVE WITH US Google Calendar Integration connects our booking system with the Google Calendars of our authorised driving instructors and site administrators. This integration is not available to students or general website visitors.
When a student books, reschedules, or cancels a driving lesson through our website, the integration automatically creates, updates, or removes the corresponding event on the instructor's Google Calendar. The integration also reads existing calendar events to check instructor availability and prevent double-bookings.
How We Use Google User Data
We request access to two Google Calendar scopes:
- calendar.events — to create, update, and delete calendar events that correspond to driving lesson bookings.
- calendar.readonly — to read existing calendar events and determine real-time instructor availability.
We do not access any other Google account data, including Gmail, Google Drive, or Contacts.
What We Do Not Do With Your Data
- We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising or marketing.
- We do not sell, share, or transfer Google Calendar data to third parties.
- We do not allow humans to read Google Calendar data unless you have given consent, it is necessary for security, or it is required by law.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Revoking Access
You can disconnect the integration at any time through the application's calendar settings. You can also revoke access via your Google Account Permissions. Upon disconnection, your stored OAuth tokens are immediately deleted.
